Starting this Saturday October 15th all people planing to camp in the Torres del Paine park will have to have reservations for each camping site. You will have to show printed proof of your reservation when you arrive at the entrance of the park, and those without a reservation will be turned away.
The camping sites belong to separate companies:
3 of them to CONAF (public entity), you can make your reservation here
These have the following restrictions: you can only camp there for one night and all reservations can be made for only one or two people, no groups.
The others belong to Vertice Patagonia and Fantastico Sur. These have no restriction regarding how many days or how many people stay there, though unlike CONAF sites, you have to pay a fee to stay.
